Who We Are & What We Do
Center for PEACE was started to respond to the overwhelming mental health needs in the Gulu region. Our field team comprises of health care professionals with hands-on experience and commendable level of training.

Mission
To scale up mental health awareness campaigns and champion community-based preventive strategies
of mental illnesses across Uganda in order to enhance the public health of the community and restore the dignity and rights of people with mental health challenges through the promotion of inclusive socioeconomic interventions.


Vision
To promote mental wellness in communities across Uganda, reduce the burden associated with mental, neurological and substance abuse disorders, and eliminate the intense and pervasive stigma, discrimination, and human rights violations that typically affect individuals and families supporting someone with a mental disorder.
